Hi Adrienne here,
I know, I’m way late about this post but I thought it’s still good to share. As a Chicagoan, you just expect tons of events and things to do downtown. If it’s not the blues fest it’s the taste of Chicago, and well you get what i mean. But as a St. Louis area resident I don’t get out much…or as much as I’d like to. Primarily because I either don’t know about cool events in this city or my “day job” prevents me from attending.
Yet one fair weathered Saturday , I literally just wanted to take a stroll by the river. Little did I know that the week of Independence Day also doubles for Fair Saint Louis, I would have grabbed my camera a couple of days in advance. This fair, operated by The Fair St. Louis Foundation, has given local vendors, entrepreneurs, and families the opportunity to gain great business exposure while enjoying familiar artists & entertainment. I was able to catch one artist in particular performing her hit single “Can’t Stay Mad” in a simple yet classic ensemble. So without further ado, enjoy this clip of NBC’s The Voice season four winner Danielle Bradbery:
